Health Canada, healthcare professionals and Safety Professionals across Canada advocate the use of respiratory and face protection during epidemics and pandemics.

When worn properly, a person wearing a non-medical mask or face covering (splash-visor) can reduce and slow the spread of illness and viruses through infectious respiratory droplets. Wearing a mask or a splash-visor alone will not prevent the spread of COVID-19. Face masks and face visors must be combined with good hygiene, public health measures, proper physical (or social) distancing and frequent hand washing to have the best chance at reducing and slowing the spread of COVID- 19.

Face masks and face splash-visors are a preventative measure primarily used for reducing one's own spread of the virus and are not necessarily effective in preventing one from contracting COVID-19.

These masks and visors are not medical devices and are not rated or regulated as such, so there is no guarantee whatsoever that they will provide complete protection against the transmission of virus-sized particles.

By purchasing and using these masks or splash-visors, you agree that you are aware of the potential risks, dangers and hazards associated with wearing these masks and freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards associated with any and all use, including the possibility that you may still contract an illness such as COVID-19.

By fully assuming all such risks, dangers and hazards, you waive any and all claims that you may have in the future against PCL Graphics Ltd.  and to release PCL Graphics Ltd. its directors, officers, agents, associates and family members from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense, illness or injury including death that you or your next of kin may suffer as a result of your use of this mask, due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care, including any duty of care owed under the Occupier's Liability Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. 0.2, or the Occupational Health and Safety Act, c 0.1 as amended or any applicable Regulations on the part of PCL Graphics Ltd.
